Come celebrate the kick-off of summer with a music festival weekend at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort! The free family-friendly event offers something for everyone featuring great local live entertainment, engaging activities, refreshments, and dining options along the famed Hollywood Broadwalk. Escape to Hollywood’s backyard paradise and experience the ultimate Margaritaville State-of-Mind, where the time goes slower, food and drinks taste better, and fun in the sun is your “no worries” destination.

The first-annual Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Summerfest event will center on live music at the famed Hollywood Bandshell with the sounds of classic rock music from some of the most talented local bands in South Florida. Nestled on Johnson Street, the festival will delight audiences of all ages with various vendors, interactive booths, and festival-style refreshments along the Broadwalk. Surf’s Up as competitors face off on the FlowRider – Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort’s simulated wave machine. The party will continue into the night with live music at the Bandshell and Margaritaville’s waterfront dining outlets.

1. Live Entertainment 
   
   Get ready to jam out to some of South Florida’s most popular local bands and DJs performing throughout the day at the Hollywood Bandshell on Johnson Street. The party continues with live music at the Bandshell and waterfront Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort restaurants when night falls.

2. Games and Activities for Kids of all Ages
   
   Family-fun activities include yard games for guests to enjoy.  Enjoy vendor exhibits, stilt walkers, face painters, and more!  The Florida Panther’s bring the fun with interactive games and giveaways.
   
   
    
3. Festival & Beachfront Refreshments
   
   Throughout the event, visit the festival booths to enjoy refreshments from local vendors! Enjoy Margaritaville’s famous cheeseburger in Paradise sliders, refreshing margaritas, LandShark Beer, Paradise Prosecco, and Kona Ice to keep you cool all day long!  Stroll along the Hollywood Broadwalk and enjoy beachside treats and casual fare. 
    
4. Dining at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort
   
   Join us for a fun-filled day of beachfront dining at LandShark Bar & Grill or Lone Palm Beach Bar with your family and friends. Cool off at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Restaurant with world famous margaritas or visit 5 o’Clock Somewhere featuring frozen concoctions and island inspired bites.  End the day with a delicious dinner at JWB Prime Steak and Seafood featuring a signature ala carte menu, handcrafted cocktails, and robust wine selection.
   
   
    
5. FloRider Competition & Exhibition
   Show off your surfing skills on the wave simulator and enter to win great prizes! The entry fee is $50.00 per rider and proceeds go to Give Kids the World Charity. Also, get your adrenaline going and enjoy a ride between competitions. 6.  Art & Culture 
   
   Check out all the creatures from the sea! Throughout the weekend, a local artist will be live-painting Margaritaville Beach Resort-themed Adirondack Chairs.  A customized and hand-designed sand sculpture will be displayed along artificial reef sculptures from the Ocean Rescue Alliance. 
    
7. Parking 
   
   Hollywood Beach offers parking at the Johnson Street Parking Garage.  Additional options are available at  https://www.hollywoodfl.org/96/Parking.  Ride-share options are also recommended.
    
8. Photo Ops 
   
   The family-friendly event offers numerous photos opportunities, include a 360-photo booth throughout the festival. Make sure to use the hashtag #MhbrHollywoodFl for the chance to be featured on our social media! 
    
9. Raffles 
   
   Enter to win great prizes and Give Kids the World! $5 Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Resort’s dining and retail outlets and the Margaritaville Tent on Johnson Street.  All proceeds benefit the Give Kids the World charity.  Winners will be announced July 5th.  Prizes include:
